Job Description

EchoPark Automotive is looking for an Assistant Reconditioning Manager to join our team at our dealership in Roseville, CA. Our Assistant Recon Coach's priority is to help their teams deliver vehicles reconditioned within our quality and time standards. As part of our reconditioning team, our teammates are involved in the procurement of auto parts and inventory to fulfill requests for the reconditioning of vehicles. The reconditioning team works quickly and collaboratively to produce consistent results.

What You Will Do:

  • Interact with the Service Technicians to coordinate parts for vehicle reconditioning
  • Order parts from suppliers based on the Reconditioning Department and Technicians' requests
  • Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed
  • Takes inventory and maintains records of parts received
  • Process parts warranties and parts returns as necessary
  • Maintain stocking levels
  • Provide inventory fulfillment to outlying stores
  • Trigger and execute arbitration and transportation claims
  • Manage wholesale units to include a weekly log for visibility
  • Deliver ongoing quality assurance for on-lot vehicles
  • Reporting when needed and as appropriate

What We're Looking For:

  • Automotive industry experience
  • Have a general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
  • Strong computer knowledge, including spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, and inventory systems
  • Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up consistently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of the details, large and small
  • Decision-making that demonstrates good judgment
